About 1398-PDM-150

The Allen-Bradley 1398-PDM-150 drive is an Ultra Plus drive which is a series of integrated positioners and brushless drives in 1 module. Ultra Plus drives feature include sinusoidal commutation, analog and digital I/O, on-the-fly motion profile generators and 4-function math and logic functions. The 1398-PDM-150 drive requires a power supply module such as the 1398-PSM-50 or the 1398-PSM-125 module. Up to 6 Ultra Plus drives can be run from a single power supply module. The peak output current per phase for the 1398-PDM-150 drive is 150 Amps. The continuous output current per phase is 65 Amps. The drive continuous output power is 12 kilowatts. The range of the operating temperature is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and range of temperature for storage is from -40 to 80 degrees Celsius. The weight of the drive is approximately 11 kilograms. The drive dimensions are 17.5 x 9.7 x 4.5 inches.



The drive includes 2 serial ports which support RS-232C and RS-422 communication with a 1200 to 19200 baud rate.
