All components are mounted in a frame with an open cover. The controller is designed to be placed in a housing and to be ventilated with filtered and cooled air. An internal fan circulates air over the heat sink. The 1391B-ESAA22-AQB converts the 3-phase, 50/60 Hz input into a controllable phase, amplitude, and frequency variable AC voltage. The output, comparable to an analog control supplied by the user, regulates the speed and current (torque) of an AC servo motor with 1326 permanent magnets. The controller is available at 15, 22.5, and 45A RMS ratings with all the package sizes being the same.
