The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP56D part manufactured by Rockwell Automation is a gate driver PC board spare part for 1336 drives. In particular, this board is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, FORCE, and IMPACT drives. The 1336-BDB-SP56D comes with 460V of input power and 125-150 HP of output, and it is a Series C board.
The 1336 drives compatible with the 1336-BDB-SP56D board feature a non-programmable input that can only be installed on Terminal 30 of the board. This input affects the operation of the board because it is dedicated to its hardware enable feature. Interrupting the input by opening it will result in a ‘coast to stop’ braking method, and the drive will disregard the stop mode that was previously set.
The protection features present on the 1336-BDB-SP56D gate driver PC board are the under and overvoltage protection, the output short circuit protection, the output ground fault protection, and the motor overload protection feature. These drives are suitable for applications that require speed control and come with different features and designs. Typical enclosure ratings of these drives are the NEMA Type 1, 4, 12.
