sAbout 1336-BDB-SP40D
The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP40D gate driver PC board is a spare part produced by Rockwell Automation. It is a 1336STEF Frame G board with 575V and 150 HP voltage and horsepower ratings. This board has an adjustable frequency and is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, FORCE, and IMPACT drives.
The 1336 drives that the 1336-BDB-SP40D board is compatible with are used for applications that need speed control. The 1336-BDB-SP40D also comes with different designs and various features to choose from. These drives have typical enclosure ratings of NEMA Type 1, 4, and 12 and they come with set protective feature, specifically output ground fault protection, motor overload protection, under and over-voltage protection, and output short circuit protection.
The 1336-BDB-SP40D gate driver PC board also has a non-programmable input that is installed on Terminal 30 of the drive. This input is vital for the drive’s operation because it is dedicated to the hardware enable of the drive. When it is interrupted by opening the input, the 1336-BDB-SP40D will ignore the set stop mode and undergo a ‘coast to stop’ instead.
The 1336-BDB-SP40D is highly customizable with dozens of different available features. It can receive RTD protection with 120 Ohm nickel, 10 Ohm copper, or 100 Ohm platinum RTD protection. If the 1336-BDB-SP40D needs a motor heater controller, the controller can be remotely powered or locally powered. Its contacts can indicate alarms, runs, or faults. The 1336-BDB-SP40D has UL panel recognition and can handle different I/O configurations.
