About 1336-BDB-SP31A

The 1336-BDB-SP31A board is a gate drive board that works as a pre-charge board with the different bulletins of drives from the 1336 series. These compatible drives are included in the 1336 Plus, Force, Impact, and Plus II series. This spare part and the whole series have been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The 1336-BDB-SP31A pre-charge board is compatible with 460 Volts AC rated drives with the 125 Horsepower output power rating. The main purpose of variable frequency drives is to provide smooth speed and torque changes to a motor that do not compromise the health of the drive, the motor, and the nearby equipment. With the application of these drives, motors can operate safely and they will not suffer any level of machine wear.



 



The installation process on the 1336-BDB-SP31A board is moderately complex. It is recommended to have a technician install the pre-charge board. The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP31A gate drive board or pre-charge board needs to be installed inside the host drive, and this part needs to be attached to several connections to ensure that it works correctly. This board is installed in the front of the drive and it is known for being one of the many electrical circuitries inside the drive. By its nature, it must not be exposed to overheating, liquids, or humid environments, otherwise, it will be exposed to corrosion and wear. The pre-charge board will be protected with the same enclosure as the drive. This enclosure can vary according to the model and its rating goes from IP 00 to IP 65.
