sAbout 1305-BA04A-ES
The 1305-BA04A-ES Variable Frequency Drive by Allen-Bradley is a programmable AC drive used for controlling the speed of a 3-phase induction motor. It has an output power rating of 1.5KW (2HP) with a 4A output current and its output voltage is adjustable from 0 to the drive’s typical input voltage (460V AC), at 0-400Hz programmed input frequency. Its 250mA is its maximum draw load on all its ports and it dissipates 52Watt heat when operational. The 1305-BA04A-ES input efficiency is 97.5% and it requires a power supply with 380-460V AC voltage input at 50-60Hz with an apparent input power of 3.1KVA. It has a 5V DC configurable contact closure input with configurable inputs for basic (Reverse/Forward, Stop, and Start) control, and 2 analog inputs with load limits of 250Ω and 100Ω, respectively, at 10-bit resolution. The 1305-BA04A-ES has a programmable relay control Output 1 with a 5A resistive rating and a 2A inductive rating at 30V DC/115V AC, and 50mA, 24V DC (sinking) Output 2 (open collector). The 1305-BA04A-ES has an 8-bit resolution load capacity greater than 4000Ω, and it modulates signal frequency using the sine weighted pulse width modulation algorithm. Its V/Hz ratio is programmable, and its carrier frequency is adjusted from 2-8 KHz through 100Hz incremental rate. The 1305-BA04A-ES offers 150% braking torque through the uses of an external resistor, but it is only capable of 50% dynamic braking without the external resistor, and it has a programmable current limiting capability from 20-150% of the full current load for 60s, and 200% of the full current load for 2s. The 1305-BA04A-ES also prevents motor overload, the drive’s over-temperature, damages from under and over-voltage, and short circuit. The drive can competently be programmed in English and Spanish. It can be programmed by the PLC or SLC controller, via the Bulletin 1203 communication module or any compatible communication modules. It has working temperature limits of 0-50 oC, with 0-95% non-condensing humidity and it is designed for use even at a height of 1,000m (3,300ft) without losing functions. The 1305-BA04A-ES weighs approximately 3.6Kg (8lb) and measures 170mm x 195 x 179mm and it is also enclosed in a NEMA 1 (IP30)-rated enclosure.
