The 1305-AA08A-HAP Variable Frequency Drive is a programmable 3-phase drive with a Human Interface Module for easy control of 3-phase induction motor speed. It has 1.5 Kilo Watt (2HP) output power with an output current of 8A and an adjustable voltage between 0 and 230V AC, at a programmable inline frequency of 0-400Hz. The drive provides 250mA current draw from every port and it dissipates 76 Watts of heat when functional. The 1305-AA08A-HAP has a 97.5% functional efficiency, and it requires an input power supply with 200-230V AC at 47-63Hz, with 180-265V AC for its operational voltage, and 4.6KVA apparent input power. It uses the 5V DC contact closure-configurable control input, and it has 2 10-bit analog input with 250Ω and 100Ω max load. The 1305-AA08A-HAP has a programmable control relay form (A) output, with 115V AC/30V DC, 2A inductive ratings, and 115V AC/30V DC, 5A resistive ratings, and a 50mA, 24V DC, open collector sinking output. It has an analog output with 8-bit resolution and a >4000Ω impedance, and it modulates signals through a sine-weighted PWW algorithm. It has a selectable carrier frequency range from 2-8 KHz.  The 1305-AA08A-HAP has 100% braking torque by using an external resistor, and it provides 150% current limiting for 60s, and about 200% for 2s. It provides motor overload protection, over-temperature protection, under and over-voltage protection, and short-circuit protection. The 1305-AA08A-HAP can easily be programmed for use and through HMI, users can easily view drive’s mode and status, and it supports communication with a PLC or SLC or any other programmable controller, using the RS-232, DH-485, and other compatible communication modules. The drive has a working temperature bracket of 0-50 ^oC, around 0-95% non-condensational humidity, and it can be installed and used without de-rating at a height of 1,000m (3,300ft). The 1305-AA08A-HAP weighs about 3.6Kg (8lb), with 170mm x 195 x 179mm dimensions, and it comes in a NEMA 1-rated enclosure.
