sAbout 1305-AA08A-HA1
The 1305-AA08A-HA1 Variable Frequency Drive by Allen-Bradley is a drive with a Human Interface Module (HMI), and a digital up-down maneuver function used for controlling a 3-phase induction motor’s speed. The drive’s output power rating is 1.5KW (2HP), with a 12A output current, and a selectable output voltage rated between 0 and the drive’s input value, at a programmable frequency between 0 and 400Hz. The 1305-AA08A-HA1 has a maximum port load of 250mA (adapters combined), with an efficiency of 97.5%, and a maximum operational power loss of 75W. It requires an input voltage (3-phase) ranging between 200 and 230V AC and an operational voltage range of 180-265V AC at 47-63 Hz, and an input power 4.6KVA. The 1305-AA08A-HA1 has a contact closure input with 5V DC control voltage and uses 3 specialized configurable switches (SW1, SW2, and SW3) for control of the motor’s 7 pre-set speeds and 2 Accel/Decel times. It also requires an external 10KΩ, 10W speed potentiometer for control, and it controls 2 analog inputs with 250Ω and 100Ω impedance. The drive has a programmable relay output (Output 1) with a 5A resistive load at 115V AC/30V DC, and 2A inductive load at 115V AC/30V DC, and with a 24V DC, 50mA (source) open collector (Output 2.) The 1305-AA08A-HA1 has a 10V DC analog output with a load impedance greater than 4000Ω, and it employs the sine-weighted pulse width modulation algorithm for frequency modulation, and a 100Hz adjustable carrier frequency from 2-8 KHz. It provides only 50% dynamic braking without an external resistor, but it can provide 100% braking with the uses of an external resistor, and it can also provide 150% overcurrent protection for 60s, and 200% for 2s, and it can provide motor overload protection. The 1305-AA08A-HA1 has an ambient temperature range between 0 and 50 oC, at 0-95% non-condensing relative humidity, and it comes in a NEMA 1 (IP30)-rated enclosure. It has approximate dimensions of 210mm x 195mm x 184.1mm (8.27in x 7.68in x 7.87in) and it weighs about 4.2Kg (9.2lb).
