The 1305-AA03A-HA2 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive ships with a HIM (Human Interface Module) equipped with digital “up” and “down” keys. The HIM is mounted on the front of the enclosure and connected as an adapter. Aside from direct mounting, it can also be removed from the drive and used as a handheld programmer. Upon the first power-on, a series of displays will cycle through – HIM ID Number, Name, and Communication statuses. After this comes the Status Display showing the current status and any fault that may be present.

The 1305-AA03A-HA2 can connect up to of 5 adapter devices through its serial port. Typical adapter devices include Human Interface Modules, Communication Modules, and Future Adapter Devices. Be careful to check the total current draw of all connected adapters. The 1305-AA03A-HA2 should not exceed 150mA.
