About 20AB028A0AYNANNN
The Allen-Bradley 20AB028A0AYNANNN controller is a user-adjustable frequency motor controller. For troubleshooting and monitoring, the controller has status indicators which show when the drive is ready to operate with no faults, when the drive normally running with no faults, when the drive is not running due to a blockage, and when the drive is running but may soon experience a fault due to an unchecked abnormal condition. The status indicators on the drive can also indicate when a non-resettable fault has occurred. A non-resettable fault can only be cleared by completely stopping the 20AB028A0AYNANNN and manually correcting the fault, after which power to the drive should be re-applied.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 20AB028A0AYNANNN, being part of the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 70 family of adjustable frequency drives, is prone to capacitive currents and electromagnetic emissions when unnecessarily long motor cables are used. The 20AB028A0AYNANNN, as with other PowerFlex 70 drives, can generate harmonic emissions or low-frequency disturbances on the AC power supply. Since the conformity of the drive with CE requirements does not require that the entire installation be conformed, a drive is considered to be compatible if, among other things, the drive’s output power, signal wiring, and I/O control wiring are shielded and braided with a coverage of not less than a 75% metal conduit or a similar attenuation. The Allen-Bradley 20AB028A0AYNANNN has an installed insulated-gate bipolar transistor but it does not have an internal brake resistor. A brake resistor, like other resistors, consumes heat, making it ideal in slowing down mechanical systems.
