The 1336-MOD-KB010 device is an AC Drive Dynamic Braking Assembly by Allen Bradley. With a voltage rating of 380 to 460 Volts AC, the 1336-MOD-KB010 AC Drive ensures higher performance levels. The 1336-MOD-KB010 heavy-duty dynamic braking system offers a self-contained NEMA Type 1 enclosed assembly, which has been wired to the 1336 AC drive unit. The highly dynamic braking system offered by the 1336-MOD-KB010 unit is capable of increasing the overall braking torque capabilities of the given drive by up to 100%. The 1336-MOD-KB010 AC drive braking unit comes with dimension specifications of 28 x 24 x 20 inches, weighing around 25 pounds. The most effective combination of the given 1336-MOD-KB010 unit (along with its sibling 1336-MOD-KB050 unit) is operated in a parallel manner to ensure an equivalent Dynamic Brake Resistance of around 8.76 Ohms. A typical Dynamic Brake Module drive consists of a Chopper Module (consisting of a Chopper transistor along with related control components) and a Dynamic Brake Resistor. The dynamic brake modules are designed to be operated in parallel when the current rating tends to be insufficient for the given set of industry-specific applications.
