This product belongs to the 1336 Drive’s Level 3 Assembly with Troubleshooting Symbol Guide denoted as FAN. It comes with a C-HB1 cap included. Use One (1) unit of this component to each of drives with output power of 250 HP, 300 HP, 350 HP, 400 HP, 450 HP, 500 HP, 600 / 650 HP or Frame G drives and 700 HP, 800 HP or Frame H drives.
As the entire 1336 Drives are obsolete, this component has been declared obsolete as well. This part is available as spare-part only as Rockwell Automation does not manufacture this product anymore.
Fans are essential component of almost any compact equipment. The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP5A Heat Sink Fan Replacement Kit with a Fan Capacitor, is a heatsink side fan replacement assembly kit (known as Fan 2) for the Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Plus II, Force, Impact, and Force Frame G and H Adjustable AC Frequency Drives. It provides cooling and temperature control for the drive. It is packaged with components which include a fan with leads, sealant, a connector with leads, 2 splices, and a grommet. The 1336-FAN-SP5A Replacement Fan is installed on the side of the drive’s heatsink close to the bottom of the inverter housing. The 1336-FAN-SP5A Heat Sink Fan Kit is installed safely on the drive via the following steps: (1) Remove power from the drive, (2) Thread the lead on the kit assembly through the opening of the drive, (3) On the opening of the fan wires, attached the supplied grommet, (4) The fan leads are joined together using the supplied splice, (5) Connect the fan connector (wiring harness), and fastening the fan cover to the fan using the supplied fastening screws, (6) Apply the supplied sealant to the wires at the chassis hole to seal and prevent entering of unwanted particles (7) Turn the drive on and monitor it for proper air current flow.
