sAbout 1336-BDB-SP51C
The 1336-BDB-SP51C Gate Drive Board is a 1336 series spare part from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a printed circuit board that comes with a Size G frame, a 460 Volts AC voltage rating, 500 Horsepower of output power, and a net weight of 3 pounds. This gate drive board is compatible with the 1336 PLUS I and PLUS II series adjustable frequency drives. The 1336-BDB-SP51C Gate Drive Board is a power amplifier board that accepts low power input from the controller and produces a high current drive input. It can also provide fault protection to the IGBT in the circuit. This gate drive board is designed for work with AC drives.
The 1336-BDB-SP51C Gate Drive Board enhances the driving and switching of IGBTs. It provides the total control to power semiconductor applications. By using this gate drive board, the master SCR bus supply of the host drive can be reconfigured as a slave SCR bus supply. To achieve this, simply connect a cable from the gate drive board connector labeled Connector X4 to the new master SCR or connect the board through Connector X6 to another slave SCR. In this situation, the pre-charge board does not need to be removed from the converted SCR bus supply. It incorporates the isolated power supply and protection features needed for reliable and safe operation at the power stage. The 1336-BDB-SP51C printed circuit board must be mounted with the main controller board of the drive. It is supplied as an assembly kit for installation with the drive board and factory supplied screws. During maintenance, make sure to remove the gate drive board carefully from the main control board to avoid hazards. The installation and removal processes of this drive board must be performed by adequately trained technicians.
