sAbout 1336-BDB-SP31C
The 1336-BDB-SP31C board is a conformally coated pre-charge board that has been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley. It has been designed as a replacement part for the 1336 Impact series of drives. It is important to recognize that this part can be installed as an upgraded replacement or it can be used if the current board is not working properly. The 1336-BDB-SP31C board has an English interface in version 3.01 and it works with drives with frame sizes between the frames A1 and A4. Depending on the drive that is going to be used with this part, there are several types of housings such as the NEMA 1 (IP 20), NEMA 1 for EMC drives rated between 5 and 60 Horsepower, NEMA 4 (IP 65), NEMA 12 (IP 54), and open enclosures. This enclosure will determine the ambient operating conditions for this spare part. These conditions are generally a humidity level between 5 and 95%.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP31C conformally coated pre-charge board is located on the front of the drive along with other circuits that are made for other purposes. This board makes the human-machine interface operate and it is responsible for making the connection between the voltage line and the status indicators. For installation, the 1336-BDB-SP31C board requires that the drive be fully disconnected and with zero voltage, There is a series of wires to connect between the drive and the pre-charge board before mounting. This installation process is quite delicate since the electronic circuitry is highly sensitive to electrostatic discharge and extremely hot and humid environments. The maximum recommended surrounding temperature is 40 degrees Celsius.
