Allen Bradley 1336-BDB-SP21D

The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP21D PCB Gate Driver Board is a Gate Driver Board for the 1336 Force, Plus, Plus II, and IMPACT Adjustable Frequency AC Drives with 575V AC drive input power ratings, and 30HP output power ratings, and it is for Frames A, B, C, and D. The 1336-BDB-SP21D Gate Driver Board helps amplify low power input to high power drive inputs, and it also interfaces the power switch in the drive to provide isolation between the high voltage circuit and the low voltage drive. It is mounted on the drive’s main control board mounting plate, directly underneath the drive’s main control board, and it has 7 jumper connector ports which connect to (J2, J6, J7, J8, J9, J10, and J13) jumper connectors on the main control board, and it also has a 24V DC Auxiliary input (Terminal Base TB4), and Terminal Base TB7 wire.

The 1336-BDB-SP21D PCB Gate Driver Board is installed on the drive via the following steps (1) Attach the 1336-BDB-SP21D PCB Gate Driver Board to the mounting plate (2) Tighten the Gate Driver Board to the mounting plate using 8 supplied fastening screws in a ¼ clockwise direction (3) Attach the connector from the main control board to the gate driver board jumper connectors, and also attach the TB4 Auxiliary input (4) Insert the mounting plate, with the already screwed Gate Driver Board into the Drive, and turn on the power. The 1336-BDB-SP21D PCB Gate Driver Board can be tested for perfect working conditions by testing for open conditions at Fuse1 and Fuse 3 using the test meter, and also by setting the test meter to diode mode and subsequent test readings compared to standard table reading.
