Allen Bradley 1336-140582

The Allen-Bradley 1336-140582 is a Bridge Rectifier SCR that has a B075-B125 rating code. This drive should be mounted properly and the users need to follow instructions to avoid difficulties while starting the system because of incorrect wiring. The user, therefore, needs to take all the precautions possible so that the wiring can be done properly as instructed. The 1336-140582 drive has been designed to operate on line voltage from symmetrical three-phase supply systems. The drive also requires suitable isolation where the ground potential varies with operation results because the supply ground is tied to another piece of equipment or another system. Suitable isolation is also required where the potential exists for excessive phase-to-phase ground voltages.

The coils of the DC-energized contractors which are associated with the drive should be suppressed with a similar device or a diode. This is because they could generate electrical transients which are severe. While taking care of the arrangement of the power and the ground connections to the 1336-140582 drive, interference with nearby sensitive equipment can be avoided.
