The 1305-BA06A-HA2 is Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) produced by Allen-Bradley for the 1305 Adjustable Frequency AC drives product family. This electronic hardware is compatible for use in semi-automated or fully automated process as it provides means for both control methods.
The 1305-BA06A-HA2 requires an input voltage of 3-Phase, 380/48VAC. It has an operational voltage range of 300-500VAC and Frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. The drive is designed to produce an output current of 6.0 Amperes at 380VAC while 5.3 Amperes at 480 VAC. Output power of 3.0 Horsepower.
To operate the drive, an integral Human Interface Module (HIM) is included with the unit as depicted by the suffix HA2 in the part number. This refers to a HIM that has digital up and down keys intended for the drive’s frequency variation. This built-in HIM is actually detachable and may also be used with other drives as well. Not limited to variation of frequency, the HIM is intended for entering drive parameters to define the operation of the unit.
As the HIM is only used for local operation, this drive is designed with remote controllability. This is through the embedded TB2 terminal which houses the I/O channels. The terminal TB2 is located beneath the HIM and front cover of the driver. The I/O channels included in this drive consists of Eight (8) Discrete Inputs, Two (2) Analog Inputs, Two (2) Discrete Outputs, One (1) Analog Output and One (1) Potentiometer input. Corresponding electrical components are hardwired to these I/O channels and these I/Os are assigned with specific parameters with the use of the HIM. Whatever the assigned parameter, the drive executes it as long as the hardware component signal is True or 1.
