sAbout 1336-MOD-FA2
The Allen Bradley 1336-MOD-FA2 is a Local Control Panel for the 1336 and 1336VT series of Adjustable Frequency AC Drives. Drives from the Bulletin 1336 series can be controlled by providing signals to a logic interface board, or to a remote I/O interface board. The third and sometimes the most convenient option is to connect over a 1336-MOD-FA2 local control panel. This part will provide the ability to control drive functions. This control panel is an open type (IP00, NEMA 1) and it is used for all drive ratings in 1336 family. The control operator panel is factory installed on all drives that have the FA2 designation as a part of its order code. You can access it from the front of the drive. It is basically a PC board with interface tasters, LEDs, and a potentiometer.
The 1336-MOD-FA2 has the following parts: a start button, a stop button, a jog button, a reverse button, a left-hand rotation signaling LED, a right-hand rotation signaling LED, and a potentiometer. This module’s start button performs start operation on the drive if the hardware is enabled. After this, the drive continues to run until you give a stop signal or there is an alarm. Stop button activates a stop sequence if the drive is running. Jog button initiates small movements of the motor at the specified speed (when you release the key jogging stops). The reverse button will change the motor direction. The motor’s direction is indicated over two LED lights. The analog potentiometer can be used to manually specify a reference speed of the motor. This potentiometer has 1003 divisions. These divisions are referencing equal frequency steps related to frequency span (rounded to the nearest 0.005 Hertz).
