sAbout 1336-L7E
The 1336-L7E control interface board is an industrial interface option from Allen-Bradley. It comes with TTL contact closure with encoder feedback inputs. This control interface is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1771-OYL and 1171-OZL PLC modules. These control interfaces can be used with an Allen-Bradley 1336 IMPACT adjustable frequency AC drive. To use the encoder mode on this interface, make sure that there is an L option board plugged into the J7 and J9 connectors which are located on the lower part of the control board. It should be verified that the DC bus voltage has discharged by measuring the voltage across the positive and negative terminals of the TB1 terminal block before any procedure.
The 1336-L7E control interface board provides optional control wiring configurations for drives. The circuits with the 1336-L7E interface board must be able to operate with low=true logic which is capable of a sinking current of approximately 10 milliamps. It should also be able to pull the low terminal voltage to 3 Volts DC or lower. For these types of situations, reed type input devices are recommended. When the TB3 is true, the 1336-L7E interface's contact input is closed. This control interface board has 7 user-configurable inputs and 2 factory-defined control inputs. It contains electrostatic discharge-sensitive parts and assemblies. If ESD control procedures are not followed during installation, component damage can occur. During troubleshooting or when repairing the board, removing all the power supplies properly to avoid a shock hazard. It is strongly recommended to use an encoder when the 1336 Impact drives are used in applications with hoists.
