About 1336-L5E

The Allen-Bradley 1336-L5E control interface board has a 24 Volts AC/DC control interface with encoder feedback inputs. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation for interfacing various signals and commands to the 1336 PLUS adjustable frequency AC drives. When a control interface option is not available, the jumpers must be installed properly while setting the input mode parameter to 1. The 1336-L5E control interface board is compatible with the 1771-OB, 1771-OQ16, 1771-OB16, 1771-OBD, 1771-OYL, 1771-OBN, 1771-OZL, 1771-OQ, and the 1771-OBB Allen-Bradley PLC modules.

The circuits that are used with the 1336-L5E control interface must be able to operate with the high = true logic state. When the control input signal is true on TB3, the 1336-L5E input terminals register 24 Volts. This control interface is similar to the 1336-L5 interface with additional encoder feedback inputs. During the low state, the circuit must generate a voltage not more than 10 Volts AC. It must have a leakage current of fewer than 2.5 milliamps in the low state with a 2.5K ohm load. When changing the input mode parameter, remove the power to the driver and wait until the bus voltage decays completely to see the effect of the changes made to the drive operation. The functions of the TB input change when the power is reapplied to the drive. It has programming options that allow the users to select input combinations to meet the requirements. It can be done by selecting the start, stop, and direction control first and then selecting the remaining control functions available.  During the installation, verify that board ratings match with the control power to the board.
