About 1336-CT-SP2A

The 1336-CT-SP2A is an Allen-Bradley Current Transducer 1336STG frame E device manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is an adjustable frequency drive which offers a wide range of speed control requirements. It belongs to the family of 1336 Plus II family of drives. The 1336-CT-SP2A is designed to operate on a three-phase power supply system with symmetrical line voltages. The three voltage ranges are 200 to 240 Volts AC, 380 to 480 Volts AC, and 500 to 600 Volts AC. It provides ratings of up to 600 Horsepower. It has a starting accelerating torque of 250% and a constant torque of speed range of 120:1. The 1336-CT-SP2A is suitable for use in circuits that can deliver up to 200,000 millisecond-symmetrical Amps.



The 1336-CT-SP2A is mostly used in the fiber industry and it is reliable in controlling three-phase motors. The device is simplified for easier setup and operations. It uses digital programming. Set up should be done as per the instructions in the manual. The 1336-CT-SP2A is fitted with a metal oxide varistor that provides protection from a surge in voltage as well as providing phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground protection. The device can also be installed with either input circuit breakers or input fuses. Other protection measures include AC input overvoltage and undervoltage trips, Bus overvoltage and undervoltage trips, Nominal bus voltage, and a heatsink thermistor. Safety precautions should be taken when handling the device because it is a shock hazard. Repair should not be attempted without a troubleshooting manual. The device should be handled by qualified personnel to prevent personal injury. The device should be operated between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature should be between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius.
