sAbout 1336-CONV-SP15A
The Allen-Bradley 1336-CONV-SP15A is a Series A busbar and bus fuse upgrade kit that comes in a D frame. This kit replaces the Allen-Bradley 1336-F1-SP5A bus fuse upgrade kit, which has been discontinued. The 1336-CONV-SP15A fuse upgrade kit is also used for the 1336 series of adjustable frequency drives, namely the IMPACT, PLUS, CLASSIC, PLUS II, and FORCE drives, that have a voltage rating of 230V each. Every 1336-CONV-SP15A fuse upgrade kit comes with a high amperage bus fuse and fuse adapter and has 40 HP, 230V voltage rating, and 250 A current. Note that it is only possible to install 1 fuse upgrade kit per drive.
Each 1336 drive comes with a hardware input enabler that is located at the non-programmable input, which is at the Terminal 30 of each 1336 drive. This hardware input enable is vital to the operation of every 1336 drive and its presence is checked by the drive before it starts up. When the operator opens the input, the drive’s operation will be interrupted, and it will stop slowly with a ‘coast-to-stop’ and ignore the stop mode the operator previously set. Using a 1336-F1-SP15A fuse upgrade kit on the drive will not affect the performance of the hardware input enabler of a 1336 drive. These drives are also equipped with different communication and I/O ports, such as DeviceNet ports, RS232/422/485 ports, Enhanced DeviceNet ports, analog I/O, and single-point RIO, and a UL panel recognition. They also have protective features in place, including under and over voltage protection, motor overload protection, output ground fault protection, and output short circuit protection.
