The 1336-C003-EAD-S1 is a 1336 CLASSIC series adjustable Frequency AC Drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is rated at 4.3 Amps output current, 3.7 KVA output at 500 Volts AC, and 4.3 KVA output at 575 and 600 volts AC. It is a general performance drive that is ideal for a variety of speed control requirements. It features a non-programmable input on Terminal 30 which is dedicated to the drive's hardware enable. All 1336 series drives, including the 1336-C003-EAD-S1 CLASSIC drive, feature fixed I/O and various L-option I/O cards. It can operate from an optional local or remote control panel and it can be configured to be used as an analog speed follower and a preset speed module. Besides the onboard LCD and push-buttons, the 1336-C003-EAD-S1 CLASSIC Drive can also be controlled through a communication network.

The 1336-C003-EAD-S1 CLASSIC Drive is designed to operate with 3-phase symmetrical voltages and to control 3-phase industrial motors that are within its rating. It features an IP20 enclosure, making it suitable for use in different industrial and field environments. The status and fault conditions of the 1336-C003-EAD-S1 CLASSIC Drive are reported through its display panel or the serial communications port. It performs self-diagnostics on each power-up and it offers real-time protection and preventive maintenance capabilities to increase uptime. The 1336-C003-EAD-S1 CLASSIC drive features a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) to provide phase-to-phase, phase-to-ground, and voltage surge suppression. This drive connects directly to AC power supplies but an isolation type transformer or input line reactor is recommended to reduce the possibility of malfunctioning in the input line components if the power source experiences frequent voltage fluctuations or outage.
