The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP58D Gate Driver is a spare part of the 1336 series that works as a power supply board, specifically as an input amplifier. It is designed to work with the 1336STEF series of drives (the Plus, Force, Impact and Plus II drives), and it operates with a rating of 460 Volts and a horsepower rating of 250 Hp. The 1336-BDB-SP58D Gate Drive is the replacement of two obsolete models, the SP58A module and the SP58C module.
The main function of The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP58D Gate Drive is to ensure the safety and energy efficiency of the entire machine. It has more than one jumper connector, as well as several terminal strips. The terminal strips have a variety of uses: they control the 24 Volt DC input, block high voltage input, and connect the driver to the jumper on the main control board. Once installed, The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP58D Gate Drive is located in the upper left area of the drive, between the main control board and the unit base. This driver also counts with a G frame molded case.
