sAbout 1336-151141
The 1336-151141 is a base drive power supply that is made by Allen-Bradley. Only one unit can be used on a drive. It has a PC board driver which has 75HP and 460V. It has in it braking resistors which increase the capability of the braking torque to higher levels. The 1336-151141 also has a power resistor which changes electrical energy to thermal energy. The protective fuses that it contains works together with the crowbar to sense circuitry and to determine whether conditions that are not normal exist within transistors. The transistors in this base drive power supply are Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT).
The 1336-151141 also has a means of voltage control. It has voltage dividers that function to minimize DC Bus voltage to values that can be used in controlling the signal circuit isolation. It also has an FWD which supports and allows magnetic energy contained in parasitic inductance to be dissipated safely when a transistor is turned off. The 1336-151141 also has 2 lights on the front part of the enclosure to show operation. The DC power lights are used when this operation has been applied to the module. The “Brake On” light, on the other hand, flicks on when the chopper module is in operation.
The operating temperature of the 1336-151141 power supply is -10°C to 50°C. It is also supposed to be kept in a non – corrosive atmosphere with a humidity of 5 to 95% non–condensing. When working on this product, users are advised to remove all the power first to avoid being electrocuted. This product has a thermostat that works to protect it from overheating and subsequently being damaged. It does this by tripping and disabling the brake module till it cools. The brake resistor and brake power wiring contained in this product should be twisted and should run separately from the wire used for controlled wiring.
