sThe 1333-CAA is an adjustable frequency drive from Allen Bradley. The drive has two sets of digital displays; the larger display shows parameter and running value codes while the smaller digital display which is the located lower left corner of the main display indicates the mode in which the drive is currently operating. The drives in the 1333 series are named taking into consideration their input voltage, preferred enclosure type, drive rating etc. For the 1333-CAA, the first part (1333) indicates the bulletin number, the second letter (C) indicates the drive rating. The drive has a Horsepower rating of 5HP and a power rating of 4 kilowatts. The second letter (A) shows that 1333-CAA should be installed in an enclosure that meets the NEMA type 1/IP20 specifications. The 1333-CAA has an input voltage rating of 230/208/200 Volts of AC for a three-phase or a single-phase voltage supply at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz.
To help monitor and program the drive, apart from the display, the drive also has SELECT, ENTER, STOP, SHIFT, INCREMENTAL/DECREMENTAL and directional start pushbuttons. In addition, the face of the drive has a LOCK switch, an LED frequency indicator, and an alternate LED light, which is used to indicate that the drive is either in monitoring or operating mode. The 1333-CAA, as with other drives in the 1333 series, operates optimally at a temperature range of between -10 and +50 degrees Celsius, a relative humidity rating of between 5 and 95 percent without condensation, and a non-derating altitude that does not exceed 3,300 feet. Additionally, the 1333-CAA can accommodate a shock of 16G for 11 milliseconds when in operation. The operating vibration rating for the 1333-CAA should not exceed 0.5G at 0.8 millimeters peak to peak. The drive uses the Bussmann FRS-R-40 fuse which has slow blow or time delay capability. When installing the 1333-CAA, the power supply should be disconnected to reduce chances of injury to personnel and the drive. In the event of a drive error, the display will read OP which is an error code.
