About 1336F-MCB-SP1J
The 1336F-MCB-SP1J PCB is the main control board PCB for an Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, PLUS II, Force, Impact, and Regen series variable frequency drives. It is compatible with frames B to G. The 1336F-MCB-SP1J PCB is compatible with 230 Volts AC rated 1336 PLUS, PLUS II, Force, and Impact drives and 460 Volts AC and 575 Volts AC rated 1336 PLUS, PLUS II, Force, Impact, and Regen drives. One 1336F-MCB-SP1J main control board PCB is required per drive. All PCBs except the main control board are referenced to the negative ground bus in the system. When the 1336F-MCB-SP1J main control board PCB is being installed, the jumper on pins 3, 4, 17, and 18 of J2 need to be removed and the proper input mode needs to be selected.
These jumpers need to be reinstalled after the board is removed and the input mode parameter needs to be set to Status 1. Some PCBs on the drive contain hazardous voltage levels. Therefore, the drive power should be disconnected before any PCB is removed or replaced. The bus voltage on the drive should be allowed to discharge to zero after the power disconnection. The bus voltage can be measured at the test points provided for this purpose. Allen-Bradley does not recommend use of oscilloscopes for the measurement of high voltages because doing so can lead to serious injury. During drive troubleshooting, the speed reference should be set to the minimum, the proper motor-rotation direction should be selected, and the motor should be disconnected from its load.
