sAbout 1305-RFB-8-B
The 1305-RFB-8-B RFI Filter from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation is an electrical filter that users can install on several different Allen-Bradley 1305 Series drives that operate on AC power. This filter is made to reduce the radio frequency emissions in the host 1305 Drive's main supply lines and ground wiring system. These emissions can interfere with the 1305 Drive's operation, but installing a filter like the 1305-RFB-8-B RFI filter will make the drive more efficient and extend its operating life. The 1305-RFB-8-B RFI Filter is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1305-AA08, 1305-BA01, 1305-BA02, 1305-BA03, 1305-BA04, 1305-BA05, and the 1305-BA06 AC Drives, and when it is installed on one of these drives, it gives the drive a CE approval rating for use in the European Union.
To prevent equipment damage to the 1305-RFB-8-B RFI Filter or the host 1305 Drive, make sure that only qualified expert technicians install, repair or replace the filter, never use the filter on a drive that uses single-phase voltage, never use the filter on a drive that is in a Grounded Delta system, and make sure that the host drive has a proper solid ground connection to avoid ground leakage currents. When not in use, the 1305-RFB-8-B RFI Filter can be stored in a clean and dry storage environment with a temperature between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius. An excessive storage or operating temperature may damage the filter or reduce its functioning. The 1305-RFB-8-B RFI Filter dissipates about 8.8 Watts of power when it operates normally, and it operates on a 3-phase input voltage of 200 to 480 Volts AC.
