sAbout 1305-RFB-12-C
The Allen-Bradley 1305-RFB-12-C Filter is designed to be an optional filter for Allen-Bradley industrial AC drives such as the Allen-Bradley 1305-AA12 AC Drive and the Allen-Bradley 1305-BA09 AC Drive. If the optional 1305-RFB-12-C Filter is installed on one of these drives, it will be installed between the drive's input terminal and the incoming AC supply line. This filter should not be installed on drives that use single-phase input voltage or on drives with Grounded Delta setups. The 1305-RFB-12-C Filter is rated for 3 Horsepower of output power at 230 Volts AC voltage and for 5 Horsepower of output power at 460 Volts AC voltage. When it is installed on a compatible Allen-Bradley AC drive, it allows the AC drive to meet the CE industrial standards.
The primary purpose of the Allen-Bradley 1305-RFB-12-C Filter is to reduce the level of emissions from radio frequency that may enter a drive's ground wiring and main supply lines and interfere with their proper operation. This filter will make the host drive and any machines connected to the drive more efficient. THE 1305-RFB-12-C Filter should only be installed or serviced by qualified technicians to avoid user injury or component damage. The power should be disconnected before installing or servicing the filter to avoid electric shock. This filter has a power dissipation rating of about 10.3 Watts and it can operate within a voltage range of 200 to 480 Volts AC. The 1305-RFB-12-C Filter is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1305-MP-12-C Metal Conduit Panel Kit. The 1305-RFB-12-C Filter may cause leakage currents, which is why a solid ground connection is necessary for the host drive.
