The Allen-Bradley 2090-SCVG100-0 glass fiber-optic cable is a servo drive cable assembly belonging to the Allen-Bradley 2090 Series interface cable family and that is designed to interface with the Ultra 3000 SERCOS drives and a controller. The 2090-SCVG100-0 glass fiber-optic cable can be used to connect the SERCOS interface modules with the Ultra 3000 drives and the Allen-Bradley controllers. The 2090 Series SERCOS interface cables utilize 200-micrometer glass fiber-optic cables that allow light to pass through, thus ensuring increased transmission length and stronger signal quality. The 2090-SCVG100-0 cable assembly consists of a 100-meter fiber-optic cable, 2 mating connectors (both ends), and an installation sheet. The cable is made from a hard-clad silica glass fiber that is suitable for outdoor use without an enclosure and conduit duty applications but it is susceptible to damage under overwhelming twisting loads.



 



The 2090-SCVG100-0 fiber-optic cable has a maximum transmission length of 100 meters (3937 inches), and it comes with an environmental enclosure made with a PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) jacket. It has a maximum bend radius of 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) and a rated maximum tensile load of 98 N-m (22 pounds on an inch). The 2090-SCVG100-0 fiber-optic cable is not compatible with bulk-head adapters and to avoid signal loss with these adapters, a compatible F-SMA standard plug, which conforms to the F-SMA screw-type connector configuration, is used instead. The 2090-SCVG100-0 glass fiber-optic cable is designed for stroage in a temperature range of -55 to 85 degrees Celsius, and it has a connector diameter rating of 10 millimeters (0.39 inches). It also has an approximate cable diameter of 5 millimeters (0.2 inches) and a bend radius rating of 30 millimeters (1.2 inches).
