Allen Bradley 1336-L8E

The Allen-Bradley 1336-L8E Control Interface Board is a 24 Volts AC/DC Logic control interface board option with encoder feedback input, which helps provide a means of interfacing various drive functions using 24 Volts AC/DC signals. This control interface board is unique, in that it comes with a feedback input encoder which has signal loss detection capability, and it has a programming option which allows the users to set the input operations to suit their application needs. The 1336-L8E Control Interface Board requires 24 Volts DC operating voltage for full operation, and it has 2 plugin connectors which allow for connection with the main control board connector jumpers (A1 to A4).

This board has 12 terminals used as either user command input signals or interface common signals, and it is suitable for circuits with high=true logic operating capability. The 1336-L8E is also suitable for circuits which can generate no more than 8.0 Volts DC voltage in the low state, and the maximum leakage current must be less than 1.5 mA at a 2.5 kilo-ohms load. This board has an operating voltage range of 20 to 26 Volts DC in the high state, and in this state, the compatible circuit must supply approximately 10 mA of current on each input. The 1336-L8E has 9 control inputs which are programmed for selective functions, and it has an additional encoder feedback input, which allows for encoder loss detection. This board is designed for use with the Allen-Bradley 1771-OB, -OBD, -OBN, -OQ, -OQ16, -OBB, -OYL, -OZL, and -OB16 output modules. The 1336-L8E is installed on the main control board at pins 3 and 4 and 17 and 18 of the J2 jumper connector.
