The Allen-Bradley 1336-B007-EOD-L3-S1 drive is a 3-phase VFD or variable frequency drive with a running frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. A variable frequency drive adjusts the flow or pressure of a machine to meet the actual demand by automatically controlling the frequency of the electrical power supplied from a 3-phase source. Automatic frequency controlling consists of changing the primary AC current into DC current, then converting it back to AC current with the adjusted frequency. The 1336-B007-EOD-L3-S1 drive can operate with an input voltage range between 380 Volts AC and 460 Volts AC. For internal communication, the drive is equipped with a serial port connector. This 1336 series drive is equipped with an open style enclosure which should be protected from water sprays and splashes. The 1336-B007-EOD-L3-S1 drive uses ground fault protection. It runs throughout the operation period and verifies the reliability of the drive.
The 1336-B007-EOD-L3-S1 drive is widely used in pumps, compressors, and ventilation systems. This drive helps to save energy by matching the volume of air that its fans move with the application demands. All the drives in the 1336 series are equipped with a metal oxide varistor or MOV to protect the drive against voltage surges. The MOV also acts as a phase-to-ground connection. The 1336-B007-EOD-L3-S1 drive has been manufactured to meet the NEC and UL requirements. It also meets the EMC requirements and it has been certified with a CE rating. The drive runs when a true input is fed to the drive and it will continue to run until a stop input is issued or if a system fault occurs. Certain precautions should be taken during the installation of the drive. The installation area’s altitude should not exceed 1000 meters to ensure full operation. The drive should not be exposed to corrosive vapors and gases.
