The Allen-Bradley 20AB042A0AYNANC0 PowerFlex 70 Adjustable AC Frequency Drive is a variable frequency drive designed for digital control of 3-phase induction motors to fulfill industrial application with demands for high-performance speed and torque control. The drive features a NEMA Type 1 rated enclosure, with a flange mounting option, and it has an integral dynamic braking system, which delivers a cost-effective and efficient way of switching regenerative energy. The drive has a voltage rating of 240V AC (3-phase) at 50/60Hz, with an output current of 43A, and it has a power rating of 11KW (15HP). It has a voltage tolerance of -+10% at 47 to 63Hz on 3 input phases, with a displacement power factor of 0.92, and a drive efficiency of 97.5%. The 20AB042A0AYNANC0 provides 285/138V AC over voltage and under voltage trips, and it has a heatsink thermistor, which monitors the temperature of the drive’s heatsink, thereby protecting it against excessive temperatures. It features digital and analog input accuracy within a +-0.01% to +-0.4% of the maximum output frequency, and it features slip compensation which provides 0.5% open-loop speed regulation across a wide speed range, eliminating the need for speed feedback devices. The 20AB042A0AYNANC0 offers 2 programmable acceleration and deceleration times, with multiple stop modes, and it provides Class 10 motor overload protection, using the i2 t protection algorithm. It has a working temperature range between 0 and 50 °C (32 and 122 °F), at 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity and its storage temperature should be between 0 and 50 °C (32 and 122 °F).
