About 2090-XXNPMP-8S30

The 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable is an Allen-Bradley power cable for the Allen-Bradley Kinetix MP and 1326AB series motors. The 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable has a length of 30 meters and it comes from the manufacturer in a coil shape. Because it is a long cable, it is easier for the installers to install the 2090-XXNPMP-16S60 cable if the cable is straight instead of being coiled. Therefore, Allen-Bradley recommends straightening the cable by laying it in a straight line on the floor for 24 hours so that all the coils and bends are removed. There are 4 conductors inside the cable and their conductor size is 8 AWG. Power cables with 10 AWG, 14 AWG, and 16 AWG conductor sizes are also available from Allen-Bradley. The cable jacket is made of industrial grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The color of the cable jacket is black.



 



There are 2 ends on the 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable, and the end which connects to the motor has a bayonet connector while the other end which connects to servo drives comes with flying leads. If a motor has a bayonet connector, then the 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable can connect directly to the motor. If the motor has a circular DIN connector, then the 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable connects only to power transition cables which then connect to the motor with a circular DIN connector. The 2090-XXNPMP-8S30 cable is a standard, non-flex cable which has a bend radius which is 10 times the cable diameter. To ensure the safety of the personnel and equipment, Allen-Bradley recommends that the drive power be switched off when the cable is being connected or disconnected.
