The Allen-Bradley 1336E-B050-AN-EN AC drive is one of the drives offered through the 1336 IMPACT product series. The 1336 IMPACT series offers compact and low-maintenance drives that are packed with features that can significantly enhance the overall performance of a system. These simple AC drives are built for tough applications and they can provide a solid alternative for DC drives for most applications. The 1336 IMPACT drives are driven by FORCE technology, enabling the users to take advantage of a patented Field-Oriented Control (FOC) method that provides the drive with the ability to achieve full torque down to zero speed through separating and controlling torque and motor flux independently. These flexible drives are made in power ratings from 0.37 to 597 kilowatts (0.5 to 800 Horsepower) and they are available with options such as communications (Remote I/O, DeviceNet, ControlNet, or DH-485), a control interface, and a human-machine interface (HMI). These drives like the 1336E-B050-AN-EN are used for load sharing conveyors, extruders, mixers, and for applications that includes diverting, sorting, and classifying. Also, these drives can be used for special applications that include use with machine tools and winders. For such applications, the users will need a drive that includes optional features such as programmable I/O or encoder feedback.
