sAbout 1336-FAN-SP4B
The 1336-FAN-SP4B is a fan manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It features a heatsink bottom type and a G Size Frame. The function of this fan is to help keep the CPU from overheating. The CPU will, therefore, be cool at all times. Whenever the CPU is running at full capacity for a long time, the heatsink bottom might become too hot. It could also become too hot if the air surrounding the computer is also too hot. The 1336-FAN-SP4B fan works hand in hand with the heatsink so that both the heatsink and the CPU can thrive under an acceptable temperature.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP4B fan works by moving cool air across the heat sink. Hot air is, in turn, moved away from the computer. There is a built-in thermometer in a CPU that helps in keeping track of the processor’s temperature. The fan near the CPU speeds up the cooling process of the processor and the heatsink if the temperature becomes too hot. The turbulence of air inside the fan helps in to improve the efficiency of the heat transfer. The performance of the fan can be affected by the geometry of the heatsink.
The users need to make sure the 1336-FAN-SP4B fan is kept clean because both dirt and dust can get into the fan and the heatsink. This will build up over time and it will degrade the performance of the unit severely. The arrangement of the fan and heatsink needs to be as self-flushing as possible to avoid the possible build-up of dirt and dust. The fan can also blow dust out of the heatsink with a controlled airflow. The air coming in should be clean. The hot air needs to be removed from the vicinity of the unit so that it does not circulate. This will eliminate thermal failure.
