sAbout 1336-FAN-SP1A
The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP1A is an adjustable frequency drive that can fit in a B-sized or a C-sized frame. With a B frame, the 1336-FAN-SP1A drive’s horsepower output can be 7.5 HP, 10 HP, or 15 HP, and with a C frame, the 1336-FAN-SP1A adjustable frequency drive’s horsepower output can be 20 HP, 25 HP, or 30 HP. With either frame and at any horsepower output rating, the 1336-FAN-SP1A needs 1 kit, because it is a spare part. Specifically, it is a replacement fan for Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, FORCE, or IMPACT drives.
The 1336-FAN-SP1A uses Allen-Bradley’s Sensorless Vector Control for maximum efficiency. It can operate alongside another 1336 PLUS, FORCE, or IMPACT drive in a horizontal or vertical formation. Make sure that there is enough space between the drives for ventilation, or the drives may overheat. In a vertical formation, the drives need at least 6 inches of air flow space between them and in a horizontal formation, they need at least 4 inches of air flow space between them.
Make sure that the 1336-FAN-SP1A drive is grounded with the power ground (PE) terminal that is on the power terminal block (TB1), and make sure that the ground impedance conforms to the local industrial safety regulations. For safety and to minimize the risk of short circuits and static damage, the 1336-FAN-SP1A adjustable frequency drive can use discrete control and signal wiring and true earth (TE) shield terminations. Users can also add an RFI filter for blocking power surges and high ground leakage currents.
