The Allen-Bradley 1336-CONV-SP18A is a 1336 Plus II Drive which is microprocessor controlled. The 1336 Plus II drive serves as the powerhouse for variable frequency controllers.  It is a high-performance and controllable frequency drive which is made to be used for controlling 3-phase induction motors for industrial applications. The 1336-CONV-SP18A drive leads to the production of adjustable frequency output and three-phase power to provide an adjustable motor speed. The output voltage of this drive is a function of the output frequency. It is adjustable in order to match motor parameters and to obtain the maximum motor performance.

 

The 1336-CONV-SP18A 1336 drive provides a wide approach to all speed requirements. The 1336-CONV-SP18A also features lightning protection which is facilitated by the smallest Grundfos submersible motors of the MS 402 type and they are all insulated. This protection reduces the risk of motor burnout from a lightning strike.
