The 1326AB-B515G-S2L is an AC servo motor from the 1326AB Torque Plus series designed by Allen-Bradley and manufactured by Rockwell Automation. The servo motors from the Torque Plus family of products have a specially designed housing that contributes valuable features such as reduced motor length and an increased rating of continuous torque. The 1326AB-B515G-S2L high-performance servo motor is a brushless synchronous motor which requires a 3-phase 460 Volts AC power source. The Torque Plus motor meets almost any requirements in regard to the performance of the motion systems into which they are integrated. There are 2 different variants of 1326AB in motors that include a standard resolver of high-resolution devices with encoder feedback. The brushless and rugged resolver enables a precise feedback of the machine’s position and it has high resistance to environmental conditions. Also, the use of such a resolver eliminates the need for the use of electronics that are integrated into the board. In applications where there is a necessity for a precise tolerance level, high-resolution encoder feedback is used and it is provided for by the high-resolution servo motors which are available in single or multi-turn configurations.
This model of servo motor has a frame diameter of 149 millimeters and a rated motor speed of 5000 RPM. In addition to that, the motor has a 10.4 N-m motor rated torque, 2.9 Kilowatts motor rated output, 10.4 N-m system continuous torque, and a 31.2 N-m system peak stall torque. The 1326AB-B515G-S2L brushless AC servo motor from the 1326AB series offers a spectrum of features such as smooth operation at low speeds, output torque at a stall with 0 RPM rated at 100% continuous torque, thermal overload indication, and many more. The 1326AB-B515G-S2L servo motor’s housing is built from extruded aluminum which contributes to significant improvement in the transfer of heat, and its TENV construction with an IP65 rating makes it a perfect fit for any industrial environment. The motor can be mounted in a vertical position at any angle with the choice of the shaft being up or down and it includes a CEI/IEC 72-1 metric flange mount with metric shafts. The shaft of the motor has a threaded hole at the front for securing the couplings.
