Allen Bradley 2090-XXNPN-16S25 Used Surplus

The Allen-Bradley 2090-XXNPN-16S25 cable is a motor power cable with a length of 25 meters. It is part of the Bulletin 2090 series of motion controller accessories. The cable has a black outer jacket. The circular DIN connector on the motor end of the 2090-XXNPN-16S25 cable has 5 pins, and 4 pins connect to power cables while the fifth pin connects to the shield which should be grounded. The power conductors have a 16 AWG wire size. The 2090-XXNPN-16S25 cable is a non-flex standard cable. Non-flex cables like this one have a rated bend radius which is 10 times the diameter of the cable. The drive end of the cable has flying leads. The 2090-XXNPN-16S25 cable is compatible with the N Series motors.

When transitioning from N Series to TLY Series servo motors in a system upgrade, the existing cables from the older system can be used, but transition cables are not available. For transition applications, the Y Series connector kit will need to be used (catalog number 9106-0066). At 25 meters in length, the 2090-XXNPN-16S25 cable is a relatively long cable and it should be straightened out from its coil to make installation easy. The recommended method for straightening long cables is to lay them on the floor in a straight line. All the bends in the cable will be straightened out if the cable is left in this position for about 24 hours. The cable shield should be grounded at a minimum of 1 point. If exposed ground wire or cable braid is present, it should be connected to the housing, cable clamp, or any suitable chassis ground on the drive.
