About 2090-XXNPMP-16S90
The 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable is an Allen-Bradley Bulletin 2090 motor power cable. The length of this cable is 90 meters. One end of the 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable which connects to motors has a bayonet connector. This cable can be used when a Kinetix MPL motor with a bayonet connector is replaced with the same type of motor with a DIN connector. In such scenarios, the bayonet connector on the 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable connects to the bayonet receptacle on the 0.5-meter long power transition cables. The other end of the transition cable with a DIN connector connects to the motor. The drive end of the 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable comes with flying leads. There are 4 wires inside the power cable. Any unused power wires on the 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable should not be connected. Unused wires can be trimmed to prevent accidental contact with wire shields or wires or with a ground or earth connection.
The 2090-XXNPMP-16S90 cable installers should ensure that the drive power is disabled before the cable connections are made and before the cables are disconnected. Motor motion or arcing can occur if the cable connection or disconnection is performed when the drive power is enabled.
