The Allen-Bradley 20-750-20COMM-F1 card is a PowerFlex 750 Frame 1 communication carrier card. Several optional legacy communication modules can be used with Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 750 series drives when the 20-750-20COMM-F1 card is used. The communication modules that require use of the 20-750-20COMM-F1 card include the RS-485 DF1 communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-S), ControlNet communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-Q), Remote I/O communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-R), Profibus DP communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-P), Modbus/TCP communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-M), LonWorks communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-L), CANopen communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-K), HVAC communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-H), Ethernet/IP communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-E), DeviceNet communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-D), and the coax ControlNet communication adapter (catalog number 20-COMM-C).
The adapter plate (catalog number SK-R1-COMMPLT1-F1) is included with the Allen-Bradley 20-750-20COMM-F1 adapter card. The adapter plate can be ordered separately and added to the Allen-Bradley 20-750-20COMM card to create a 20-750-20COMM-F1 card. Only Port 4 should be used for the installation of the 20-750-20COMM-F1 card. Installing the card in Port 5 or Port 6 will cause Port 5 to become inaccessible for other option modules and it can also interfere with network cable connections. The storage temperature range for the 20-750-20COMM-F1 card is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. The maximum recommended altitude for Frame 1 PowerFlex 750 drives is 2000 meters. For both storage and operation, care should be taken to protect the drive and its components, including the 20-750-20COMM-F1 card, from corrosive elements that could cause damage and could also impair their performance.
