The 1398-DDM-020X is part of the Ultra 200 Digital Servo Drive product family. This servo drive is used to control the rotation of a partner servo motor to implement position or motion control, commonly used in the manufacturing industry such as product assembly lines, sorting stations, product handling, and similar areas. This programming workstation communicates over the RS232 programming port and establishes a connection to the servo drive via the J4 terminals, 2 (Receive), 3 (Transmit), and 5 (Common) terminals. Other terminals of the 1398-DDM-020X include J1 terminal assembly which is used to dictate motor rotation direction, enable the drive, reset and turn on the drive.
