sAbout 1388-AV60
The 1388-AV60 servo controller for industrial systems is designed and produced by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and it is available through Series A. The controller is a modular component that operates on advanced power semiconductor technology and the controller performs at a high level with various systems. Generally, the servo controllers from this series are combined with inductors, isolation transformers, and PM servo motors from the 1326 series. The 1388-AV60 servo controller features torque taper circuits, a complete PWM servo amplifier, RMS armature thermal overload detection, an integral 150 Volts DC power bus supply, a dynamic braking resistor, advanced diagnostics, and MOV protected input.
The 1388-AV60 servo controller has continuous current and peak current ratings of 60 Amps and 150 Amps, respectively, and a nominal output voltage of 150 Volts DC. In addition to that, the controller has a continuous power output of 4.5 kilowatts and a peak power output of 22.5 kilowatts. The 1388-AV60 controller has a 0.75 Ohms internal dynamic braking resistor with a power rating of 50 Watts and an internal shunt regulator with a power capacity of 45 Watts. The external shunt resistor of the controller has an electrical resistance of 6 Ohms and a power capacity of 675 Watts. The rating of the circuit breaker is 35 Amps per RMS. Also, the 1388-AV60 controller has a form factor of 1.03 or less and a peak current limit adjust of 10 to 250% of the rated current. The 1388-AV60 servo controller has a weight of 15.4 kilograms or 34 pounds. The operating temperature of the unit is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and the specified temperature range for storage is from 0 to 65 degrees Celsius (32 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit).
