The Allen Bradley 1336-F1-SP6A is a Bus Fuse Kit for 1336 series Adjustable Frequency AC Drives. This spare part is compatible with all “Frame E” AC drives form 1336 family (1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS, 1336 PLUS II, and 1336 IMPACT & REGEN). It is engineered to withstand voltages up to 700 Volts AC and currents up to 600 Amps. This part is a semiconductor, form 101 fuse. The bus fuse kit encompasses 600 Amps fuse, 2 screws and 4 washers. In order to replace the bus fuse, it can be found at the top of the heat sink. Before continuing with a replacement, first measure the resistance of the old fuse to be sure that it needs to be replaced. Before doing so, turn off the AC drive and wait until there is no residual voltage left. Measure voltage across bus contacts; it must be 0 volts. Use electrostatic discharge straps to avoid static discharge, which may cause damage to the MCB board or to the drive’s sensitive components. It is strongly advised to check that the contacts of the fuse are clean and that there is no corrosion (which may cause the fuse to look faulty when it’s not). After replacement of the 1336-F1-SP6A kit, put all guards back to their place and only then you should apply power to the AC drive device. Failure to do this may cause serious injuries and death.
