The 1336-CONV-SP3A conversion kit is an upgrade conversion kit that has been designed to operate with the Allen-Bradley 1336 series of adjustable frequency drives, specifically with the Plus, Force, and Impact series. This part has been designed by Allen-Bradley as a spare part. It can replace a damaged part or be installed with a brand-new drive. Adjustable frequency drives are used with variable speed motors and induction motors in the machine control industry. Their main purpose is to provide speed and torque variances through operations without causing machine stress and wear to the motor. The Allen-Bradley 1336-CONV-SP3A upgrade conversion kit operates with the Series A, B, and C 1336 drives. These compatible drives need to have a 3-phase voltage rating of 460 Volts AC and a normal duty output rating of 15 Horsepower.
Some of the benefits that the Allen-Bradley 1336-CONV-SP3A upgrade conversion kit provides are that it increases machine-building productivity and at the same time it simplifies machine design by providing better ways to convert specifications. The Allen-Bradley 1336-CONV-SP3A upgrade conversion kit needs to operate in the same environmental conditions as the drive it is attached to. These conditions depend on the housing of the drive and the recommended conditions that include a maximum temperature of 50 degrees Celsius and a maximum humidity level of 95%. These conditions must not be exceeded to make sure that the physical conditions of the equipment can be preserved. Conversion kits are usually applied when there are different currents and different specifications that need to be matched between different devices.
