sAbout 1336-CAP-SP14A
The 1336-CAP-SP14A, from the 1336 PLUS family of products, is a drive that addresses all of your automation needs. The 1336-CAP-SP14A comes with device communication features that are easy-to-use, providing a tremendous control advantage. The 1336-CAP-SP14A provides output ratings of 0.37 to 448 kW (i.e. 0.5 to 600 HP). The 1336-CAP-SP14A has exceptional reliability when it comes to controlling three-phase motors. Users can tune the 1336-CAP-SP14A’s output to optimize the drive’s performance ---for almost all load conditions. They can also use the selectable kickstart (also referred to V/Hz) to take a complete control of the motor. The 1336-CAP-SP14A’s condensed packaging makes mounting, wiring, as well as installation easy. It also comes with common assembly parts shared with other 1336 drives, which helps reduce inventory and cost. With the 1336-CAP-SP14A, users get a drive which is easy to program. Programming parameters are straightforward, making it easy to access important functions. The drive provides simple tuning for optimized torque performance and an easy-to-read LCD (Supertwist display). Available serial communications provide easy integration as well as quick access to peripheral equipment that is fully compatible with this Allen-Bradley equipment. The 1336-CAP-SP14A utilizes digitally programmable capabilities to deliver precise and constantly accurate control, smooth operation, and a simplified setup process. With a configurable I/O, the drive provides simple connection to numerous customer control mechanisms. These control inputs and outputs can be easily programmed to meet nearly all application requirements. Powerful algorithms offer unmatched performance. The constant torque speed is in the range of 120:1, combined with the starting acceleration above 250% allow the 1336-CAP-SP14A to handle all the critical applications that other drives cannot.
Enhanced performance can be achieved by programming the drive’s setup parameters using tangible motor nameplate values. By programming the actual amps desired, users can gain optimum results in terms of the actual voltage required for IR compensation with no load flux. Disabling the 1336-CAP-SP14A’s Adaptive Current Limit option provides the lowermost acceleration time for applications requiring low inertia. The quick flux-up mode can also be programmed to help in acceleration with huge motors. The drive also comes with selectable Volts/Hertz modes that provide improved functionality when selected. With the drive’s proportional and integral gain adjustments, feedback scaling, output clamping, integrator functions, and error inversion users can achieve simple process control, regulation of the drive output, and monitoring of feedback. The selectable inputs offer exceptional ‘auto/manual’ features for open loop winding/threading operation. The 1336-CAP-SP14A can be installed using input fuses/circuit breaker.
