sAbout 1336-BDB-SP59D
The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP59D gate drive from Rockwell Automation is a gate driver board spare part for the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS, FORCE, and IMPACT drives. It has 500 HP and 460V of output, with a 1336STEF Frame G board. The 1336-BDB-SP59D board supports adjustable frequency drives.
A non-programmable input is available with the 1336 drives that are supported by the 1336-BDB-SP59D board and the input should be installed in Terminal 30 of the drive. This input must be installed because it is dedicated to the drive’s hardware enable, which is vital for running the drive. Instead of following the set-stop mode, it will do a ‘coast-to-stop’ when its operation is interrupted because the input has been opened. The protective features of the 1336 drives include motor overload protection, under and over-voltage protection, output ground fault protection, and output short circuit protection. The typical enclosure ratings of these drives and the 1336-BDB-SP59D gate drive board are the NEMA Type 1, 4, 12 and these drives are used for speed control-centered applications.
The 1336-BDB-SP59D gate drive board is highly customizable. Users can choose from dozens of different custom features to suit their application needs. Its interface options include a blank, programmer, analog, or a digital NEMA Type 1 Human Interface Machine (HIM). The 1336-BDB-SP59D can also communicate through 2 LA2C analog inputs, 2 LA3C analog outputs, 2 LA6C analog inputs, 2 LA7C analog inputs, 1 LA4C analog input and 1 LA4C analog output, 2 LA1C analog outputs and 1 LA1C analog input, and 2 LA5C analog outputs and 1 LA5C analog input.
