The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP34D PCB Gate Drive Board is a PCB gate driver board for the Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Force, Impact, and Plus II Drives family with 575V drive operating voltage and drive power rating of 125HP, which is located under the drive’s main control board, and is an integral component of the Drive Circuit Board Platform. The 1336-BDB-SP34D is designed to amplify low current input to high current drive input for a high-power transistor (IGBT), and it has a board operating voltage rating of 575V with a 125HP power rating.





The 1336-BDB-SP34D is an integral component of the drive’s circuit board platform, and it can be installed safely via the following steps (1) Attach the Gate Driver Board to the Main Control Board Mounting Plate, (2) Turn the 8 supplied fastening screws in a ¼ clockwise direction to fastening the Gate Driver Board to the Main Control Board Mounting Plate, (3) Connect the Main Control Mounting Plate with the attached gate driver board to the circuit board platform, (4) Connect the J2, J7, J8, J9, J10, and the J13 jumper connectors on the Gate Drive Board to connectors from the main control board, (5) Connect the Terminal Strip TB4 24V DC Auxiliary Input, (6) Connect the +DC/–DC Brake Terminals, (7) Turn on the Drive Power. Installed on the 1336-BDB-SP34D Gate Driver Board is always tested for perfect working conditions whenever modules have been replaced, and it is tested for viability using a test meter to test Fuses 1 and 3 for open conditions, and by setting the test meter to the Diode mode, VR1 to VR6 component is tested and the reading compared to the standard table reading.
