sAbout 1336-BDB-SP28D
The 1336-BDB-SP28D is a high-performance module from the PCB Gate Drive Board series, manufactured by Allen-Bradley, which comes with a 460 Volt AC input voltage, as well as 60 HP. These drives are specifically designed for variable frequency AC drives and run on a 460 Volt AC voltage, and outputs of 60 HP. This module is manufactured with state-of-the-art technology, allowing it to fit in all the frame sizes between A and E. This module serves as a spare part for numerous variable frequency drives, such as REGEN, IMPACT, FORCE, PLUS II and 1336 PLUS AC Drives, where every board serves as a spare part for a particular drive. The 1336-BDB-SP28D Allen-Bradley PCB board is engineered to run with AC Drives at a horsepower that ranges from 3 to 800; it is also powered by the operating voltage of the variable frequency drives. This device offers a comprehensive and field-tested turnkey solution to run a single massive area thyristor device. The driver uses a logic level control input and offers a sequestered DC drive current into the SCR gate.
The output gate drive signal is applied via a pulse establishing network that creates a fast rising leading edge current pulse into the gate. This is important since it helps in maximizing the device prowess and ensuring a proper SCR turn on. The onboard 1336-BDB-SP28D power supply offers all the required power when it comes to driving the SCR; it also offers transformer isolation between the AC input and SCR that is being driven. It comes with a high-speed optocoupler that serves by offering isolation between the supplied logic level signal and the SCR. It also features a LED indicators display power on and SCR ON status.
